The Texas Instruments NE567V tone decoder uses a simple RC combination to set the centre detection frequency. A small number of other external components set the bandwidth and output delay. Applications include touch tone decoding, precision oscillator, frequency monitoring and control, wide band FSK demodulation, ultrasonic controls, carrier-current remote controls and communications paging decoders.
